Q: Who should attend?

A: Our conference was built to target a wide range of audiences; yet, it is customizable to individualize the experience. This conference is designed for anyone working in the housing industry, including but not limited to: nonprofit Executive Directors, Supervisors, Managers, HUD Housing Counselors, real estate professionals, lenders, faith-based groups, state & local government and those serving consumer’s housing and credit needs.

Q: Are exhibitors allowed in the exhibit hall prior to show hours to set up?

A: Yes, exhibitors are allowed in the Exhibit Hall Sunday, April 8th between 4:30 – 6:00 p.m.

Q: Do you have any hotel discounts?

A: Yes, we do have a limited number of discounted rooms with Embassy Suites by Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista South.
Room rates will be $139 per night + tax, plus a self-parking fee of $5 + tax per day.

The reduced room rate is only good until March 17, 2018.

Q: What’s the parking situation?

  • Valet parking is $15 + tax per day
  • Self-parking is $5 + tax per day

Q: Is there a dress code?

A: Yes, business casual is recommended. We want you to be comfortable during the conference experience.  The hotel conference rooms are usually cold so please bring a jacket or sweater. Business or cocktail attire is suggested for the awards recognition dinner on Tuesday evening, April 10, 2018.

Q: What is the cancellation policy?

A: Cancellations prior to December 20, 2017 will receive a full refund minus a $75 administration fee. Cancellations must be in writing (telephone cancellations will not be accepted). Cancellation requests received after December 29, 2017 will not be refunded. However, attendee substitutions will be allowed. Full registration fee is forfeited for conference no shows.

Q: What about alternative transportation?

A: There are several options for your transportation needs:

  • Super Shuttle Orlando – Advanced booking online. $20 + tax for one-way shuttle to conference hotel from Orlando International Airport (MCO).
  • Uber – Advanced booking through app. Visit app store to download to your phone.  App allows you to split rides with friends/co-workers riding with you! Receipts are stored in the app for easy reimbursement by employer (if needed).
  • Lyft – Advanced booking through app. Visit app store to download to your phone. App allows you to split rides with friends/co-workers. Receipts are stored in the app for easy reimbursement by employer (if needed).

Q. What are some of the sites to see in the immediate area?

A. Embassy Suites by Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista South is an official Walt Disney World® Good Neighbor hotel in Kissimmee, Florida, and is only 3.5 miles from Walt Disney World® Resort. Take the scheduled shuttle to Epcot®, for a nominal fee, where you can easily catch internal transit to any Disney park. Or spend the day at the nearby Prime Outlets shopping for your favorite brands.

A. Averages for Orlando in April. In April the weather is hot and sunny. The average daily temperature for this month can reach as highs as 28°C (83°F), with minimum temperatures of 15°C (53°F).
